The Ambassador’s Mission

The official release date is tomorrow!

Here’s Neha’s copy, about to be wrapped up and posted.

I am hiding behind it because I accidentally sat on my glasses the other night, and they’re a bit crooked now.

  1. I just finished the book and I loved it. Can´t wait for the next one.

  2. It totally sucks living in South Africa. The Ambassador’s Mission is only arriving in July 2010!!

My husband and I are huge fans of yours and I was hoping the book would have arrived in South Africa end of April because we got married 1 May and I wanted to give him a copy as a gift.

We have just come back from a one month honeymoon… whoo hooo… and what is the first thing i do, phone Exclusive Books and ask them “Uhm excuse me, can you tell me if you have a book in store yet?”

I am actually glad the book is coming out in hardcover here, my husband prefers the hardcover books

looking forward to reading your book!!

  3. I got your new book (The Ambassador’s Mission) two days ago and have been reading it nonstop. I just finished it and LOVED IT! Thank you so much for putting so much time and effort into sharing your stories with us. You are a truly talented author!

  4. Got my copy in waterstones Birmingham, loved it!!!

  5. I may fail a couple of modules at university this term due to reading this instead of writing essays!

    Damn your fantasy goodness!

  6. Whoa, my local bookstore has had the ambassador’s mission on display for at least three weeks. I went book shopping for a friend’s bday the other day and was pleasantly surprised to see it already out. Needless to say, I scurried out of the store with two copies straight to my friend and we proceeded to immediately devour the book. Great work, as always, cannot wait for the next installment!! 😀

  7. Neha is lucky! ;D
Book looks great, I cannot wait to see The Ambassador’s Mission in bookstores in my country :]

  8. This is driving me nuts!!!!! It hasn’t arrived in Waterstones in Northern Ireland! I can’t believe it! Please, please come soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Hi Trudi!
Can I ask you one question?
How do you make up such lovely names for people, places etc?
I have difficulties with it, and I need some advices. Could you, please, write me about that?
    Take care,

  10. I marched into a Brisbane bookstore the other day (to buy a different book) and whoa! behold! there it is on the shelf. I was pretty surprised I have to say 🙂 Good read, unfortunately finished and of course I’m waiting for the next one!

  11. Beautiful book :))

  12. Ahhhh, I’m so excited for the next one! I got mine on the 5th of May, but maybe that’s ’cause I pre-ordered it in December and I’ve just finished now. I was deliberately reading it slowly so it wouldn’t end… Congratulations on a lovely book.

  13. I’ve read it, took me about 6 hours all up. Been waiting for this book for a long time, read it all in one sitting(insane I know) was fantastic as per usual and can’t wait for the next one.

  14. Ah dang, I need an *edit* button. lol.

Will the Legends of Australian Fantasy book that your novella is in be available outside of Australia? I looked on and they only had the LoAF from 2005!

  15. The wait is worth it – it is awesome. I picked it up back on the 1st when I was down in Birmingham. I was surprised to see it on the shelf so early, but I’m not complaining; gave me something to read when hit with a lengthy train delay. 🙂

  16. I received mine from Amazon yesterday I’ve not quite finished it yet but love it! Yet another fantastic unputdownable book. Thank you! x

  17. all i can say people is that iv read it already and its great. i pre ordered mine and i got a txt on the 30th that they had it instore for me to collect. they also have the book on display in store since the 30th aswell so i hope that wasnt breaking any laws but i wasnt going to say anything cos i was just so happy that i got the book ahead of the publish date… the book was brill and i recomend it every one and thats all im going to tell you. have a good read.

  21. OMG please stop teasing me! I can’t look at the cover again it just makes me want the book more! I really can’t wait until tomorrow but…I can’t read it until the middle of June! (Sob)
All I have to do is wait less than 24 more hours…24 more hours…

  22. *blink* tomorrow? I bought mine from my local Waterstones on Saturday and my dad’s arrived through the post from Amazon today, lol. I guess “official” says it all 🙂

    • Oh dear! Not to be prude, but might I ask where you bought yours so early? *itching like crazy to get her hands on it*

      • *guilty look* I’m a bit late replying now, methinks, but it was Cribbs Causeway Waterstones near Bristol. Or 😛

  23. One word: beautiful xD

  24. Wow, I really want that book; it’s a pity the paperback version in Ireland only comes out in a YEAR(!)
And I don’t really approve of hardback so I’m going to have to order the paperback version somewhere as soon as it comes out! I really don’t think I can wait a year…
Thankyou again for your lovely books Trudi!

    • Oh my god, Niamh??
As in, has a dog called misty and a baby sister called Abby, Niamh??
Sorry if you’re not the Niamh I think you are, but I think you might be…??

Anyway, trudi, I just bought your book and I’m well into it and LOVING it!! :):)
