The Vague Tour Post

At the moment I’m checking the editorial corrections on The Rogue, scouring it for errors and tweaking it to make it, as my art teacher used to say, ‘more betterer’, which is going to make for a very busy weekend-less couple of weeks. I don’t have time to write long and fascinating posts here and there’s been no concrete news on new editions or events to come, so I thought I’d simply answer a question I’m asked on Twitter a lot.

Yes, I am going to be doing a tour.

But here’s where the details get vague. I can’t tell you exactly when or where yet, but I can narrow it down a bit. Part of it will be around the time The Rogue is released (next May), but how much earlier it starts and how long after the release I can’t say. It is going to include the UK and France, and very likely Germany and possibly Poland as well. I would expect it to involve mainly capital cities, since we’ll have a lot of territory to cover and that doesn’t always allow time to visit smaller towns, but who knows?

I can’t give much detail yet as it’s all still being worked out, so keep an eye on this blog. I’ll definitely be posting more information when I have it.

  1. I guess it’s safe to bet the Netherlands is out? … Well if I have to go to France or Germany I’ll try to get there! Much closer than Australia, after all :)

Good luck with all the hard work!

  2. If you come to Poland I hope you will visit Olsztyn but as it is a smaller town than our capitol I don’t suppose it will happen.
Nevertheless I suppose I cannot miss such occasion to get you autograph and meet you in person (of course if you come to my country) :)

  3. I’m very exating, that You will be in Poland !

  4. I cant wait to meet you Trudi ;-)

I’m sure you will love the UK.

  5. Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!
It’ll be so nice if You come to Poland. And I hope my mother will let me go to Warsaw to the meeting with You! ( unfortunately, she doesn’t understand me at the moment and doesn’t want to allow me to go to Warszaw, because it’s quite far from my town, but hope I will convince her!).

  17. I’m reading all these comments and i’m really shocked! I didn’t realized that You’ve got so many fans in Poland! Most of comments here are by Polish people. Amazing. Journalists write that Polish teenagers don’t read! But if someone look at guys who write their opinions here, he will change mind immediately.
Now, You MUST come to Poland! Don’t disappoint us!

To Mateusz- I live near Olsztyn!

    • Yeah, you are completely right! Not only Journalists say that polish teenagers don’t read.
Parents say that too! They think that we only play computer games etc. But no, we really enjoy reading really good books (e.g. Trudi’s).
BTW Kasia, in Olsztyn I’m studying English Philology. It’s quite difficult, I must say! xD

      • Poland loves T. Canavan and we (polish fans) was very happy if you come here.

To Mateusz and Kasia- I’m live near Olsztyn too (Ostróda).
