How to get hold of these stories and novellas:
Most of them were published in Australia (where I live), though a few have been translated to other languages (there is a Polish anthology available). If you’re really keen to get hold of them but you live outside of Australia, then you’ll need to mail order them. Aurealis magazine sells back issues, so go to the website linked above to get your copy of the issue my story is in. The anthologies can be bought either from online bookshops or from Australian bookstores. Use your favourite search engine to look for “Australian science fiction and fantasy bookstore” to find one of the latter.
I am hoping to have a collection of short stories and novellas published in the future, but I’d like it to contain more than just the short list above. There are stories in my head that I need to find time to write. Some are set in the Millenium’s Rule universe. One is a quite long fantasy novella that I got half way through rewriting a few years back but was scuttled by our house renovation dramas. There are some science fiction and horror story ideas in there, too.
But if you can’t wait, then you’ll need to mail order the above magazines and anthologies. The advantage of this is that you get to read a whole lot of other excellent stories by very talented Australians, and may discover an author whose work you’ll love.
