On the Bright Side

Bright in late summer.

I took the reference photo during one of the worst holiday breaks I've ever
experienced. I was so miserable most of that trip I was surprised that the
photos were so nice! This scene was so inspiring I had to paint it, and it
reminds me to look for the good in the bad.
