Cloudia Rests

After a year of painting landscape nudes, I felt I had only just begun to
explore and discover the theme. For the second year I decided to explore the figure-
in-the-clouds idea. The figures would be more detailed, but the rest of the painting
would be cloud and sky - and not necessarily all in scale. I wanted there to be areas
that receded and showed clouds from a vast distance.
