Clouds and rocks both present the challenge of depicting something that seems random
but which with a few ill-considered brush strokes can easly stop looking like what it is.
Yet the process is a lot of fun. I have some house painting brushes from the hardware
store that I use when painting large areas. The rougher they are, the better.

So far this year I have only produced two large paintings. It's my Dreaded Year of
Deadlines, so I have no ambitions when it comes to painting output. I still have plenty of ideas
for cloud nudes, however, and hope next year I'll be able to explore the them furthur.
