I took the reference photo for this one from 'the tin' because, having done
so many fruit still life paintings I thought I'd challenge myself to some subject
matter other than fruit. The resulting painting was was barely dry when a fellow
artist bought it from me.

Something about all this lush fruit got me all inspired to try something I'd
been wanting to try for years: nudes.
