The life cycle of Schistosoma mansoni. Adult worms live and mate in blood vessels. Their eggs pass out of the body with faeces, hatch into larvae and bore into snails. Multiplying into a second larval stage, they leave snails and bore into feet and legs of a human host. Yuk!
