Having written a fantasy trilogy, I could not resist painting a cover illustration for the first book. The trilogy has been accepted by a publisher... but unfortunately the painting wasn't.

The Magicians' Guild is set in a world where magic is taught only to those of the highest class. When Sonea, a poor girl from the slums, manifests magical ability during a confrontation between the poor and the magicians, a hunt begins. The magicians know that her powers will become dangerous if she is not taught to control them. But she believes they mean to kill her, and is determined to evade them.
