Today I headed into the city to the funky studio of 3CR Community Radio where Jan Goldsmith interviewed me live for her show 'Published or Not'.

I had a fabulous time talking with her about The Magician's Apprentice and the world I created for The Black Magician Trilogy, and about writing. Jan picked up so many themes and details from the book beyond the simple story, and I think we could have easily talked for a full hour.

Being a live interview, there were plenty of butterflies before the show, but once we got into the swing of things I felt much more relaxed!
I had a good look around their website, but it seems 3CR don't make a podcast of Published or Not available for your curious listeners worldwide. A shame, although it's good to hear that you enjoyed the interview and that the promotional work for Magician's Apprentice is going well.
I was wondering, woukd it be possible for you to be able to post this interview on your website? i hope so, anyway keep up thegood workand thanks for the hard work you put in the website
I think it's great how you keep smiling on all those pictures though you are prbably pretty tired and everybody keeps asking you the same questions.
I personally, think it's always pretty akward talking into the microfone... but you probably did it pretty well.
Hope you can still enjoy travelling :)
It is kinda wierd talking in to a microphone, but after a few minutes you forget it's there.
The interview belongs to Jan or 3CR, so I can't put it online, but I'm sure Jan and the radio station wouldn't mind if you let them know of your interest in hearing it as a podcast.
