There's this weird time-warp thing that happens when writing books. Right now I'm working on the start of The Rogue, while waiting for the first pages of The Ambassador's Mission to arrive for proofing. So when I hear some news about The Magician's Apprentice, I can't help thinking 'but it's been years since I finished that one'. (Okay, a year and a half, but when your head is full of the latest book it seems like a lot longer since the previous one. And the previous one to that.)
But it's always pleasant when the news is something like this!
Thank you to the readers who voted over at SFcrowsnest. I'm flattered and utterly bowled over.
WooHoo!!
Congrats!
Hey Trudi,
Just got your book, finally available in Estonia, and I'm LOVING it... it's been in my giftlist for a while now :) - amazing work, I have all your books and can't wait for the next ones to come!!
Wow!!! Well done! It definitely deserves it! Fantastic book!
congratulations !
i finally got the magicians apprentice, for christmas (we got it on amazon) and i LOVE it ! i havent finished it yet, but i'm going through it pretty fast it's very good. i love how you can feel the time difference with TBM, that must have been hard to write. i love tessia, she reminds me of sonia, in some ways, particularly her courage and love for healing rather than fighting, as sonia was also agaisnt that aspect of magic. i really love your books, i cant wait to read more of them
congrats again
you guys are really so lucky! Down here, The Magician's Apprentice is sold at a very expensive price ( so my parents didn't allow me to buy) and it's always on loan in the libraries! Nevertheless, I will be anticipating the release of The Ambassador's Mission next year!
and congrats(:
